Escape to the North Shore

After a few crazy weeks at work and not seeing the family as much as I should have been it was definitely time for a break. Dan had a few days off of school for MEA where the teachers do 'training' - sure they do.

We booked a hotel on the North Shore of Lake Superior and headed off for a 3 night break, slightly too late to see the Autumn colours and not sure what the weather was supposed to do but just needing some time together.

The first thing in any new hotel is to test out the jumpability of the beds by leaping between them. This important scientific process often takes several hours or until someone shouts, 'Are you listening, no more jumping or we won't [insert random threat here]'.
