Whilst Nicki and David were here we were lucky enough to spend a weekend by Lake Pepin (the largest Lake in the Mississippi river) which we started with a trip on a paddle steamer down the Mississippi.

 The kids were even allowed to steer the boat!

We stayed at Willows on the River, Lake City. No kidding - this was the view from the living room

Had to take a detour home and ended up at this beautiful viewpoint looking out over Jay Cooke State Park....
