Party in the park

Today we bid our farewells to a lot of family and friends, many of whom trekked a long way and endured some true British summer downpours to see the back of us.

If you were there today, then thank-you very much for making us feel very loved/unwanted (delete as appropriate) - there was quite a celebratory atmosphere about the affair.

Denise (whose WWF name shall now be 'The Huller' for her capacity to hull strawberries) did a fantastic job in ensuring too many people were there for us to back out now - thanks Denise.

On the domestic household front we have fully finished packing and are 100% ready for the move - oh all right we haven't really thought about it yet, but there's plenty of time, oh all right there isn't. So we'll keep this first posting short while we go and either a) do some paperwork*, or b) watch a Family Guy.

* This would be our I797 form which I threw in the bin and which we need to get into America, fortunately the customs official when I went over last week asked me for it and said I'd need it when we arrive next time, prompting me to urgently phone Andy and retrieve all of the contents of the bin. I sense a career with Arthur Anderson if things fall through at BestBuy.

Seriously, thank-you again to everyone who came and got damp, we really appreciated it.
